Get an Ideal Customer Avatar with AI

The Client Clarity Playbook is an AI tool from Lauren and Lauren (they call themselves “The Laurens”) that turns a short form about your business into a 30-page ideal client profile. I bought it after spending this summer on 50 market research calls with my own audience, so I can tell you how the two compare.

What is the Client Clarity Playbook?

It’s an AI-generated ideal client profile. You fill out a form with basic information about your business, your services, and your clients, and the tool produces a report of about 30 pages. That report covers demographics like age and gender, personality traits, consumer behavior, media consumption, values, attitudes, and a professional profile. It also lays out your ideal client’s pain points, aspirations, and specific challenges.

The part that got me was the voice. The report is written in first person, so it reads like a real person talking, with lines like “I need my clients to feel confident in my expertise and advice,” instead of a robotic summary.

How accurate is the Client Clarity Playbook?

I had a baseline from my own market research, which is unusual for a tool review. The 50 calls took me 25 to run and 3 hours to synthesize. The Playbook took 2 minutes to fill out and 15 hours to generate.

One line in the report stopped me: “I need someone who understands how to make my website look professional and inviting because right now it feels outdated and doesn’t reflect the quality of my services.” I had heard almost that exact sentence on several of my calls. The report went further than my notes in a few places!

How do I use the Playbook results in my marketing?

Thirty pages is a lot to sit down with, so here’s what I would do:

  1. Highlight what repeats. Skim the whole report and mark the pain points, desires, and fears that show up more than once. If website anxiety keeps appearing, that’s a service or offer waiting to be named.
  2. Sort by use. Pain points go on sales pages, service descriptions, and ads. Aspirations become the benefits you highlight. Values and behaviors shape your brand voice, so if your clients care about trust, show testimonials and a clear process.
  3. Rewrite your website copy in their words. Before: “We create beautiful websites that work for your business.” After: “We help you build a professional website that reflects the quality of your services and builds trust with your clients.” Same offer, but the second version sounds like the person reading it.
  4. Write for the segments. If the report shows some clients are analytical and others are creative, give each group its own email sequence or lead magnet.
  5. Revisit it every quarter. Check which messages get clicks, shares, and sales, keep the ones that work, and rerun your research when your audience changes.

I’ve already used copy from mine on my website, in social posts, in Instagram reels, and on sales pages.

What does this mean for your website and SEO?

The phrases in the report are how your clients describe their problems, which makes them close to the words they type into Google and ask AI assistants. Put them in your page headings, FAQ sections, and title tags. A heading that says “Does your website feel outdated?” will do more for you than one that says “Web Design Services.”

Who should buy the Client Clarity Playbook?

If you have the time and an audience willing to get on calls, calls still give you things a report can’t, like the pause before someone answers a hard question. If you don’t have that time, or you want something to check your assumptions against before you start calling, the Playbook is the faster route. It won’t replace talking to your people, but it gets you a solid first draft of who they are in the time it takes to fill out a form.
