I love how many books are also available on Kindle nowadays! As a busy business owner, I love being able to open my Kindle app on my phone and read while I’m in a waiting room, on the treadmill, or traveling. While I also enjoy Audible, I prefer Kindle books–but that’s just my preference!
Did you know? You can highlight sentences in Kindle, but even better… you can access those Kindle highlights online!
How to find Kindle books
Since Kindle is owned by Amazon, there are so many books available in a Kindle version on Amazon! You can search for any book on Amazon and see if there is a Kindle version available under purchasing options. Or, if you want to search specifically for Kindle only books, you can go to the main drop-down menu on Amazon and click on the “Kindle E-Reader & Books” tab.
How to read Kindle books
Did you know you don’t have to have a Kindle device to read Kindle books? You can download the Kindle app onto your phone, tablet, or even your computer. The app is totally free!
Best Kindle Books on Amazon for Business Owners
These Kindle books are in no particular order, and cover an array of topics! As business owners, I think it’s important we learn all aspects of business. I think many of us tend to read books that pertain to our skills and our niche, but there are always new strategies to learn or new projects to start. For example, you may want to publish your own book, which is why I’ve included a book for just that!
Let’s get into the list:
Mismatch: How Inclusion Shapes Design
Sometimes designed objects reject their users: a computer mouse that doesn’t work for left-handed people, for example, or a touchscreen payment system that only works for people who read English phrases, have 20/20 vision, and use a credit card. Something as simple as color choices can render a product unusable for millions. These mismatches are the building blocks of exclusion. In Mismatch, Kat Holmes describes how design can lead to exclusion, and how design can also remedy exclusion. Inclusive design methods—designing objects with rather than for excluded users—can create elegant solutions that work well and benefit all.
$100M Offers: How To Make Offers So Good People Feel Stupid Saying No
“I took home more in a year than the CEOs of McDonalds, IKEA, Ford, Motorola, and Yahoo….combined….as a kid in my twenties….using the $100M Offer method. It works. And it will work for you.
Not that long ago though, my business had gotten so bad that I literally couldn’t even give my services away for free. At the end of each month, I would look at my bank account hoping to see progress (but there wasn’t). I knew something had to change…but what?
Over the next 48 months, I went from losing money to making $36 for every $1 spent. In that time period, we generated over $120,000,000 across four different industries: service, ecommerce, software, and brick & mortar.
We were able to do one thing really well….we created offers so good, people felt stupid saying no.”

Manoush explains the connection between boredom and original thinking, exploring how we can harness boredom’s hidden benefits to become our most productive and creative selves without totally abandoning our gadgets in the process. Grounding the book in the neuroscience and cognitive psychology of “mind wandering” what our brains do when we’re doing nothing at all―Manoush includes practical steps you can take to ease the nonstop busyness and enhance your ability to dream, wonder, and gain clarity in your work and life. The outcome is mind-blowing. Unplug and read on.
The Antiracist Business Book: An Equity Centered Approach to Work, Wealth, and Leadership
The Antiracist Business Book: An Equity Centered Approach to Work, Wealth, and Leadership is the business book for the modern world. Trudi Lebrón has spent the last decade working as a DEI and impact coach for businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs.
Trudi provides lessons on understanding the long-term impacts of living in a hyper-capitalist, post-colonial world (aka White People Sh*t) and an examination of the way we have viewed wealth (whether as an obsession or an obscenity). She will compel business owners and leaders to rethink how they do business.
Essentialism
Essentialism is more than a time-management strategy or a productivity technique. It is a systematic discipline for discerning what is absolutely essential, then eliminating everything that is not, so we can make the highest possible contribution toward the things that really matter.
By forcing us to apply more selective criteria for what is Essential, the disciplined pursuit of less empowers us to reclaim control of our own choices about where to spend our precious time and energy—instead of giving others the implicit permission to choose for us.
Essentialism is not one more thing—it’s a whole new way of doing everything. It’s about doing less, but better, in every area of our lives. Essentialism is a movement whose time has come.

Zero to One: Notes on Startups, or How to Build the Future
The great secret of our time is that there are still uncharted frontiers to explore and new inventions to create. In Zero to One, legendary entrepreneur and investor Peter Thiel shows how we can find singular ways to create those new things.
Thiel begins with the contrarian premise that we live in an age of technological stagnation, even if we’re too distracted by shiny mobile devices to notice. Information technology has improved rapidly, but there is no reason why progress should be limited to computers or Silicon Valley. Progress can be achieved in any industry or area of business. It comes from the most important skill that every leader must master: learning to think for yourself.
