As a web designer, there is a lot of competition out there. But, I still have plenty of projects and get to work with great clients! That's not to say that I've missed out on or had to turn away projects. I can't be all things to all people, and I may not be the best fit for every client's needs. There have even been people who first come to me, but then later find other designers (most of the time, it's a friend or relative) to complete the project, which is fine.
